1. About This Policy

Iron Meadow Holdings LLC, doing business as Load Network (“Load Network,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect about you, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website, mobile applications, software platform, load board, transportation management system, referral services, training and mentorship resources, communications, and any related products or services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

2.1 Information You Provide
  • Account and profile information: name, email address, phone number, business name, business address, job title.

  • Transportation and compliance information: motor carrier (MC) number, USDOT number, operating authority, insurance certificates, W-9 information, equipment type and specifications, lane preferences, and other regulatory or business credentials.

  • Payment information: billing address and payment-method details. Card numbers are processed by our third-party payment processors and are not stored by us in full.

  • Communications: messages, support tickets, feedback, survey responses, call recordings (where lawful and disclosed), and any content you submit to the Services.

  • Referral Partner application data: information you submit when applying for or inquiring about products or services from our Referral Partners (financing, factoring, insurance, fuel cards, ELD/compliance, equipment financing, and similar offerings).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically
  • Device and usage data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, features used, referring URLs, and timestamps.

  • Location data: approximate location derived from your IP address, and (with your permission) precise location from your mobile device.

  • Cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies used to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Services, and for advertising and analytics. See Section 7 below.

2.3 Information from Third Parties
  • Information from credit bureaus, identity-verification services, FMCSA databases (e.g., SAFER, Licensing & Insurance), safety-rating providers, and other public or licensed sources.

  • Information from Referral Partners about the status of your applications or accounts with them (for example, whether you were approved or declined).

  • Information from analytics, advertising, and fraud-prevention partners.
     

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • operate, maintain, and provide the Services, including the load board, the transportation management system, and account features;

  • process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud;

  • communicate with you about your account, transactions, support requests, security alerts, and changes to the Services or our policies;

  • facilitate introductions to Referral Partners you select and share information with those Referral Partners to enable them to evaluate, underwrite, quote, approve, deny, service, or fulfill your application or relationship;

  • personalize and improve the Services, develop new features, and conduct research and analytics;

  • send marketing communications about the Services and Referral Partner offerings, subject to your preferences and applicable law;

  • monitor, investigate, and address suspected fraud, double-brokering, identity misuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service;

  • comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from government authorities, enforce our agreements, and defend our legal rights; and

  • aggregate or de-identify information for any lawful purpose.

4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 Referral Partners

When you express interest in, apply for, or use a product or service offered by a Referral Partner through the Services, we share the relevant information with that Referral Partner so they can evaluate, underwrite, fulfill, and service your application or relationship. Once shared, the Referral Partner is an independent controller of that information and its use is governed by the Referral Partner’s own privacy policy and agreements. We are not responsible for the Referral Partner’s privacy practices.

4.2 Service Providers

We share information with service providers that perform functions on our behalf, including hosting, infrastructure, analytics, customer support, communications (email and SMS), payment processing, fraud prevention, and security. These providers are contractually bound to use the information only as needed to provide their services to us.

4.3 Business Counterparties on the Platform

If you post, accept, bid on, or otherwise interact with loads, listings, or other Users, the relevant information you submit (for example, company name, MC/DOT, equipment, lane, and contact information) may be visible to those counterparties so the transaction can be evaluated and completed.

4.4 Legal, Safety, and Compliance

We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process; (b) cooperate with law enforcement or regulators (including the FMCSA); (c) protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Load Network, our Users, Referral Partners, or the public; (d) investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our agreements; or (e) enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements.

4.5 Business Transfers

If Load Network is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality terms.

4.6 With Your Direction

We may share information with others when you direct us to do so.

4.7 De-Identified or Aggregated Data

We may share de-identified or aggregated information that does not reasonably identify you with any party for any purpose.

5. Sale of Personal Information; Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. Depending on your state of residence, certain disclosures to Referral Partners, advertising networks, or analytics partners may be considered a “sale” or “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising” under applicable law. You have the right to opt out - see Section 10 below.
 

6. SMS, Email, and Marketing Communications

By providing your phone number and consenting at sign-up or in your account settings, you authorize Load Network and its service providers to send you automated text messages, calls, and voicemails (including via autodialer or prerecorded voice) related to your account, transactions, load alerts, support, and marketing. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

To opt out of SMS, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP. To opt out of marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or update your account preferences. Transactional and account-related communications may continue after opt-out where reasonably necessary to provide the Services.
 

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, authenticate Users, analyze usage, secure the platform, and personalize content and advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale or sharing where required by applicable law.
 

8. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for promptly notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access.
 

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as we have an ongoing relationship with you, as needed to provide the Services, and for additional periods required or permitted by law (for example, to satisfy tax, accounting, regulatory, fraud-prevention, or legal-hold requirements). When information is no longer needed, we delete, de-identify, or anonymize it.
 

10. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
10.1 Universal Choices
  • Access and update: You may access and update much of your account information directly through the Services or by contacting us.

  • Marketing opt-out: You may opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link) and marketing SMS (reply STOP) at any time.

  • Cookies: You may manage cookies through your browser. Disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

10.2 State Privacy Rights (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Other Applicable States)

Subject to applicable law and verification of your identity, you may have the right to:

  • know or access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;

  • request correction of inaccurate personal information;

  • request deletion of personal information;

  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or of targeted advertising;

  • opt out of certain profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects;

  • limit use of sensitive personal information;

  • receive a portable copy of your personal information; and

  • appeal a denial of any of the foregoing requests.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@loadnetworkboard.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf, subject to verification.

10.3 California Shine the Light

California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Contact us at support@loadnetworkboard.com to make such a request.

10.4 Nevada

Nevada residents may submit a verified request to opt out of certain sales of personal information at support@loadnetworkboard.com.

11. Children

The Services are intended for transportation industry participants and are not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

12. International Users

The Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the Services, you consent to such transfer and processing.

13. Third-Party Sites and Services

The Services may contain links to, or facilitate introductions to, third-party websites, applications, and services, including Referral Partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third party. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” and “Last Updated” at the top reflect the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice (for example, by email or through the Services) where required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
